  1. I wonder…

…which came first, the light or the drawing?

…if the saucer moved, would the boy be frightened, excited, or accept that movement as natural and necessary?

…is it really a drawing? Am I making an assumption? Is it really a UFO beaming down light?

Am I seeing with the eyes of logic when I should be using the eyes of wonder?

  2. This makes me think…but I don’t know of what. It’s like a kid trying to capture the essence of life, but in order to do it you have to stop, take your time and look around.

  3. Hey Mr.R, Remember me, Emily?

I am soo sorry I haven’t commented on your blog lately, but I have been checking it every week!

Well, I have two reasons for commenting today, one about this, and something to go along with that , but something different. (Sorry if that is confusing) So the first thing is about this picture; Wow, how cool. I think it it really neat on how they captured this. It makes me think about curiosity, and its effects. This also reminds me of the other day during this assembely at school on WWW, when everyone was looking up at he screen. It was amazing; The slideshow showed all of the pictures from WWW, from grades, 6-8. So after we had seen grades 7 and grade 6, it was on to 8, and OMG, Malaysia looked so cool. Now, throughout this whole presentaion, everyone would scream or shout when a neat picture came on of their freind, ect. But then all of a sudden, a picture of you and some other teachers comes on, and the whole theater was swamped into a pit of voices. Everyone was screaming your name, and just plain hollering, ( including me, of course. ) So the only reason, I am telling you this is because I just want to re-assure you that you are totally not forgotten.

We miss you lots, Emily (Humanities)

P.S.- The new teacher we have is really nice.
P.S.S- Our team, ( Baghdad ) for SS, won the Islam bowl, but none of the class made it to Mecca. Our team came in 5th. The day before you left, we lost 135 Dirhams! The boys were really mad, because we were in the lead at the start of the class.

  4. Heyy Mr.R,

  5. Hi!

I think it is a boy walking around the city and finds these picture and trys to find out what it is and what was the person trying to say.

    Bye for now!

  6. Hi Mr. R..

I haven’t been commenting for a while. There’s been ALOT going around here. Me and Leila are getting things all sorted out with the GI blog. Hopefully we can bring the blog back to life again. This picture is really hard to grasp. I mean, what are they trying to say?? Are they showing about imagination, art or aliens… I don’t know. But I think the pic is really cool. How did they create it on the wall??

  7. that picture makes me think of the changing of life as we know it

it also makes me think, if i were that boy at least, is that a coincidence? why is that like that? is someone trying to tell me something?
