Hi Mr.R
I love the poem. When I write poetry, it’s always simple. No big worlds or anything. When I read someone else’s they always have ,as I put, poetic words. So that’s why I love to read them but I fell if my own poems are powerless, but still many say they can understand my emotions. This is just I thought I had to share.
Anyway I love this poem. Especially the second stanza. It’s how I’m feeling these days.

Wow..that was deep. My eyes popped out just by reading it. I wish you could teach our poetry unit. I don’t feel that our new teacher can do what you can.

I think that this is a neat poem, the first and second paragraph remind me of when our class is talking and Mr. Fisher tell us to e quiet , and then after he says that I usually buckle down and get my work done, once I am done my work it feels good, because now I can do what I want, and it makes me feel smart, I think that that kind of sounds like the last paragraph.
