We are a dance to end all dances,
Tears in the night,
Encrypted messages,
Signals to our minds,
To walk to you,
And ask you to dance with us,
In the dance to end all dances.

We are calm tropical oceans
Vast and full of life
Sea can turn to tsunami
Waves that can destroy
When the sun comes up inn the morning
All will be still again
Boats rocking
Fisherman waiting to be fed

We are little books eager to be read, to be discovered.
As others advance, we wonder why we are exceptions.
Pages full of bright colors, beautiful pictures and
Dark, black ink fill empty spaces.
Stories which have only just begun.
Why does no one peer inside?
Outsiders, like desperate dogs out in the cold.
Our time hasn’t come.
For now, we will wait
On the edge of this
Dusty,
Lonely shelf.

We are frogs in a pond of fire trapped on a lotus of hope
Screaming, yelling for help
Like lost souls
Confused, ignored…
Like dogs
With no one to love
With no one to cheer
Dogs without a home
Or hope

We are little teenagers in the universe
Who think our surroundings and beyond the humankind is so immense
We always imagine about substantial places, famous people
We to be recognized like them have to think big
We’ll believe we are on the peak of the world
We sense it in our soul

We are keys,
Unable to unlock our door
Like a lost moon in the lifeless night shy
Waiting for the sun to scan the horizon
Reflecting its light,
So that we can see.

We are Fire on the guitar
Shooting through paths
Running from justice
Drifting through man made paths
Engines stretching the accelerator
Palm sweat: we grab the wheel
Recalling every direction
Near the end
We halt and listen tour heartbeats
Satisfaction
Closing our eyes knowing
We won the race

We are teddy bears in dark shelters
With gleamy eyes trying to find joy and happiness
Seeking light
Unidentified and mysterious while
Discovering hope from an unknown hole
Laughing and smiling
Happiness and delightfulness
The best feeling you can ever have
Always happy

We are floating feathers in the air
Circling
Waiting to fall
Not knowing where we go
But excited about the road
Searching for places to go
Stepping out from ourselves
Going for journey of unknown

We are tormented girls
By unspoken words
No one knows we exist
No one knows who we truly are
Tired of being the happy girls that
Skip along
We dream of the happiness we could have
And hope that one day we can be free
From this dark corner

We are walking down the sidewalk
Happily enjoying our life
But behind our masks, we cry every step
We’re tired of pretending we’re fine
Tired of hoping everything is going to be alright

We are birds trapped in a cage
Waiting to spread our wings and fly away
Needing to be let out
Freed out into the world

We are raging eagles trapped inside the walls of a cage
Shouting and screaming for you to let us go
Waiting till we can be free to soar gracefully over earth
The world…..one country
To see great sites of joy
Working to build a place where everyone is home

We are the darkness in your hearts
Hiding deep inside you
Eager to come out
Filling with cruelty and painfulness
With no sense of light
The color of the evil

We are light glimmering in a dark corner.
A dark place where light can barely reach.
Light breaking through a dark wall.
Shadows growing longer in a sunset descending over the horizon.
Until we eventually breach the barrier of adulthood.
